Mayor’s Back to School Fair
The Back-to-School Fair helps 10,000 students every year and typically draws over 30,000 attendees annually.
Online registration opened this year earlier than ever on May 1, and 1,000 families have already registered. Registration will remain open until Friday, July 26.
Eligible families must meet certain income requirements (household income is equal to or less than the 2024 Federal Poverty Guidelines). Eligible families must also be City of Dallas residents or have a student attending a Dallas ISD school.

When: Friday, August 2, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

2024 West Dallas Multipurpose Center Back to School Event
This event is open to West Dallas youth living in 75211, 75212, and 75208 in grades Pre- K.
Pre- registration is required to participate. The deadline to register in-person or online is August 1, 2024, at 5 p.m. You can register in-person at West Dallas Multipurpose Center or online at here.
When: Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

MLK Back to School Drive Thru
This event is free for students Pre- K to 12th grade. Students must be present. The Back-to-School Drive Thru will provide students with supplies, backpacks, and health and wellness information vendors.

UNIDOS 2024 Back – to- School Health and Safety Fair
This event is hosted by the Dallas Police Department with partnerships with various City of Dallas departments, Moisés E. Molina High School, Parkland Hospital and many other organizations.
